SmartArray on Z4 G4 Workstation
Hi,
Would a HPE P408i-p SR be supported on a Z4 G4 workstation? The documentation indicates that a HPE Smart Storage energy pack is required to use the P408i-p, but the documentation only refers to HP server models when specifying Smart Storage and P408i-p compatibility.
To give some background, we're planning on using this controller for the Secure Encryption support. It will be used with several SAS drives in a non-RAID configuration.
Thanks for any insight.
