TC2120, Flashing amber power led.

Hello all,
I'm experiencing the following problem: my TC2120, after a cold reboot, is refusing to show anything on the screen - I can't even see the POST informations -. No beeps, no red leds, not even a single character dumped on the monitor - the only hint I have is the power led that after powering up the server stays green for a fraction of a second, then flashes with an orange/yellow color. I've already checked the connections, cables and hardware, but the problem persists.

Any hint? TIA.

Can you PING the server ?
iLO ? reseat the INTERNAL components;
swap memory; try minimum configuration; one processor.

Is there a blackplane ? reseat it;

I have already tried reseating everything - ram, cpu, and every single connector. I can't find this info in the TC2120 guide - what does a flashing amber power led exactly means? The leds on the motherboard are all green, and i don't hear any beep error code.

I am not sure about this model; Is there a System maintenance switch ? SW6 ? Ideal on Proliant ML.DL, they SW6 is one of the set of 8 SMALL switches; If available, reset NVRAM by using that switch;

Seems like the server is going into a standby mode !! Can you PING it ?

I've tried to clear the NVRAM with sw6, and even the CMOS with SW4, at no avail. And, no - i can't ping it.

Will it BEEP without the memories ??

No. It remains completely silent even without ram.

Power Supply faulty;
The system board/memory slots not getting power; had this been receiving power, there should have been BEEPS !!

Have you got Spare PSU to replace it ? or try this PSU on to another server !!

If no joy, after PSU swap, then its CONFIRMED to be the system board !!
