UPS Management Module wont connect to the Protection Agents

Hi,

we've the following problem:

UPS: HP UPS R3000 XR (3000VA, 2700 Watt) "R"
with the new HP UPS Management Module.

One Server is connected by the configuration cable and the others should be connected via the remote agent (ups power protection agent).

The webinterface of the management modul is working without problems, the module is properly configured (ip: 192.168.2.200).

The problem is: No remote agent is able to connect to the module. Its not possible to connect by the serial cable and even no chance to connect by IP. The agent says "no device".

Is here anybody who has the experience to help me with this problem?

What operating systems are involved. I have seen similar symptoms particularly with SRA on 64-bit platforms. Do you have anything in the application event log?

We solved the problem, HP send a new Management Module.

With the new Module the Agents connected without errors.
