UPS Powertrust II-LR continuous beep

I have an HP A1356A 3kVA Powertrust. When I turn it on, after self tests are ran , I get a continuous beep and the led's are as follows.
A-off
B-off
C-Blinking
D-off
E-off
F-off
I looked in the users manual at the trouble shooting section, it gave a list of alarm displays, but my particular symptoms where not listed. Any help would be great

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the II-LR... if this doesn't work the battery might be shot.
