UPS R 3000 XR, fails after firmware 1.09 upgrade
We have tried to upgrade the firmware from 1.07 to 1.09 and did not uncheck "Do Verify after Flash" option in PWflash. Our UPS is now stuck in flash mode and do not answer to any buttons i front. We are also not able to reflash the UPS, Software screen turns red when we try to load ChtaHP109.ROM file.
What can be done to get the UPS out of flash mode, and back in business?

Re: UPS R 3000 XR, fails after firmware 1.09 upgrade
You can try to remove power from the UPS and disconnect the batteries as well as the electronics module. Pretty much remove all that you can and let it sit for 5 mins or so. Hopefully when you plug everything back up it will allow you to re-flash to 1.09.
If this does not work then you may have to call into support and see if there is anything else that can be done short of replacing the electronics module.

Re: UPS R 3000 XR, fails after firmware 1.09 upgrade
We have tried to unplugg the power. Removed the batteries, snmp card and the controller card. Waited for 10 minutes. Put the whole ting together and still have the same situation. What is the proper thing to do now to solve the problem?

Re: UPS R 3000 XR, fails after firmware 1.09 upgrade
The electronic module was replaced by HP, now everything works just fine.
But why make a flash program that can damage the UPS?
