UPS redundant - unexpectet server shutdown
Hello,
I have 1 x r3000 and 1 x r5500 UPS's (both have a management module included) in redundant use. They are connectet via LAN to one server (HP UPS Power Protection Agent installed).
My problem is when i turn one UPS off from power the server shuts suddenly down ( The user manual of the management module says it shoud not) without using the 2nd UPS.
Any solutions?
Best Regards
Manuel

Re: UPS redundant - unexpectet server shutdown
Hm,
seems to be a problem with the config of the time delay for shutdown in the agent.
the time delay was set to 2 minutes. maybe the agent cant abort the shutdown command with this short shutdowntime.
whatever
set the time to 10 minutes - and it works !
