Where to post Compaq UPS Questions...

...are there any forums for such?

Acquired one for my ProLiant 5000 and would like some questions answered / suggestions made.

TIA

Chris

Re: Where to post Compaq UPS Questions...

Best place to post it would be in the Proliant area as there is no category for UPSs.

Re: Where to post Compaq UPS Questions...

OK So I bought a T2400H-na, and am currently in the process of putting a 220V line into my "server room". I've read that the (highly spec'd) ProLiant 5000 runs better on 220V - is there something special I need to do the 5000 or my U1 Storage System to make sure I don't blow the power supplies? Also should I be upgrading the power leads to 220V spec ones? Source to buy them? And is there anywhere to download the software which controls the UPS?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris:

The 5000 should have a switched power supply.
