hello how do I install the system partition. the comp says it's to little space on the fixed disk.

how do I make the p 300 to feel the memory.
how do i change the speed of the procesor.

You have to install the F10 partition before the rest. Now you can run it from the smartstart cd or from diskettes which you can download at www.compaq.com/support/files
Look for system configuration utility.

To have the memory detected you have to run the configuration utility mentioned above

Check the inside of the sidepanel for the switch settings.

I'v tryed to instal the system partition but. it wont work. ther ist not enough space on the fixed disk.

what is a fixed disk.
or how do i make one.

i'v 2g disk formated. but i still dont work to install sytem partition.

hello Is F10 partition before. the same as system configuration utility(system partition).

SCU is part of the F10 partition. Diagnostics is also part of it.
Boot from smartstart and either choose assisted- or manual installation or choose update system partition.

Thank. I have solved the problem. The system partition had do bee installed on a not fomated disk.
