servers fail to show in KVM
we have just strated to have a problem with 2 of our IP KVM's (both new modles) when we attach a new server via dongle it picks up the EID/name but instead of having a green indicater next to it it has an orange indicater and if you try to go to that server it just comes up with a black screen and a free flag indicator.
we have up graded to the latest firmware but the issue stays the same
aany one know what the problem is and how to fix it.
cheers

Re: servers fail to show in KVM
Does the video output have to high a resolution? Have you tried the servers on another one?
Just a couple thoughts which might help.

Re: servers fail to show in KVM
Mark
all have been tested or looked in to.
but what we have found is if we leave it for a few minutes (normaly about 5 but has taken up to 10) they work fine and never suffer from this issue.
could this be some firmware mis match issue?
we now now know it works and not a big problem,so will just try to find out why it dose this.
cheers

Re: servers fail to show in KVM
What that means is the interface adapter is being upgraded.
