understanding the encoding of the part numbers

Example:
If I have the following part numbers: A3326A, A3326AR, A3326-67002

In this case, what it means "A" and "AR" ? What is the difference ?

what is means 67002 ?

Thanks in advance

Re: understanding the encoding of the part numbers

In this instance the R signifies a re-marketed part.

Re: understanding the encoding of the part numbers

A3326A is the productno. of the fan used in a JAMAICA disk enclosure, A3326AR is the same product as remarket, A3326-67002 is the spare part number.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: understanding the encoding of the part numbers

As already pointed-out the R stands for remarketed - which indeed means used, second-hand, or if you prefer, "refurbished."

Depending on what one is buying/replacing (ie if it is old old kit) the "R" version may be the only one still available.
