HPE announces the next generation HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack

bigstock-Cloud-Computing-Concepts-And-T-231899338.jpgHewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack (Gen 10). This next generation HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solution delivers higher storage and cache capacity, along with improved performance and increased security for on-premises cloud environments.

The hybrid cloud solution, co-engineered by HPE and Microsoft, is a fully integrated hybrid cloud solution that delivers Azure-compatible, software-defined infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) on HPE hardware.

While public cloud continues to gain momentum, businesses are faced with the reality that some workloads are more suited for an on-premises deployment. HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack enables organizations to maintain data sovereignty, run high performance analytics, big data and low-latency applications, support edge and disconnected applications, and deploy apps to either Azure public cloud or Azure Stack on-premises.

Based on the HPE DL380 Gen 10 server, the HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack (Gen 10) maximizes agility, simplifies IT implementation, and manages cost efficiencies. Customers can now experience the benefits of a public cloud in a package that can be deployed on-premises.

HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack delivers benefits in three key areas:

1. Hybrid cloud expertise

HPE delivers the most configurable hardware platform available, along with the expertise to enable customers to get up and running quickly. With HPE Pointnext, customers can leverage planning, migration, and operation expertise to design and implement a solution that works best for their applications.

2. Pay-as-you-consume pricing

With HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity, customers can take advantage of cloud-style economics to pay for on-premises infrastructure that is used today, along with a buffer to grow into and to be paid for when it is used.

3. Efficiency

HPE OneView is an infrastructure automation engine that enables customers to closely monitor the health of their HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solution. With powerful dashboards, customers can view real-time status information and alerts, which are instrumental for tracking and maintaining the health of their solution.

HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack combines flexible configuration options with integrated, simplified management from HPE OneView, and delivers the most efficient on-premises cloud platform available today.
