Hitting one million: HPE OneView approaching historic milestone
The clock has officially started: HPE is counting up to one million HPE OneView licenses sold around the globe in just four years. HPE OneView is the infrastructure management solution designed to help customers transform their data centers into software-defined infrastructure, speeding the delivery of apps and services to the business through automation.
Announced in 2013, HPE OneView took home an innovation award in its very first year. By the end of its first two years, there were already almost 300,000 OneView instances running on servers worldwide. In 2016, HPE added the HPE OneView Global Dashboard as a free feature to help customers view all of their HPE infrastructure from a single pane of glass. HPE continues to listen to the voice of the customer to enhance HPE OneView, making it the trusted infrastructure management solution that has been chosen almost 1 million times!
But the excitement isn’t just about the number of licenses sold; more importantly it’s about the number of customers who have seen enormous gains in time savings, cost savings, and more by implementing HPE OneView with HPE infrastructure solutions. Here are some clear examples:
In Austria, Porsche Informatik is a 50-year-old company that delivers best-in-class digital solutions across the automotive industry. HPE OneView is the driving force behind their high speed operations, enabling Porsche Informatik to deploy new configurations 90% faster than before. That increase in speed is like going from 0-60 in 35 seconds in a minivan, to 0-60 in 3.5 seconds in a car like the Porsche 911. Which would you rather drive? I know what my choice would be, and so did Porsche Informatik, which is why they chose HPE OneView . You can check out their story here.
On the other side of the world in Louisiana, Franciscan Missionaries is the leading healthcare provider for the region, reaching over 400,000 people from employees to patients. Running five hospitals, Franciscan Missionaries required an IT system that could support a VDI environment to provide patient information to doctors and staff quickly and reliably no matter where they are. After implementing HPE OneView, Franciscan Missionaries was able to reduce time spent on hypervisor patch updates by 97%. Even more importantly, in a work environment where time is essential, they were able to reduce desktop login times from 60 seconds to 13 seconds. You can watch their story below, or read about it in more detail here.
Celebrate HPE OneView’s road to one million by following the conversation on Twitter with the hashtag #RoadtoMillion. Stay tuned for interesting facts and more customer successes in the celebratory journey toward this accomplishment. And if you don’t have HPE OneView yet and want to give it a try, HPE offers a free 60 day trial so you can see the transformation yourself.
