There's still time! HPE iLO Advanced is FREE for all HPE customers and partners through 2020
Help your business transition to its new normal with HPE iLO Advanced--still free for all HPE customers and partners in 2020. Configure, monitor, and update HPE servers seamlessly from anywhere, TODAY. Learn how to claim your free license.
Who knew this would still be going on? Many HPE customers and partners are still facing challenges such as closed offices, inaccessible server rooms, and and/or work-from-home mandates. And like many businesses across the globe, they need to quickly adapt to continue to serve their customers’ needs. If you are an HPE customer or partner (or plan to be), know that we are here to support you, so you can focus on your customers.
Here is one way we are helping. We have made HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Advanced FREE OF CHARGE for all HPE customers and partners through December 31, 2020. Normally offered at a cost, this server management software enables you to configure, monitor, and update HPE servers (see footnote) seamlessly - from anywhere. Lots of our customers and partners are already leveraging this opportunity to empower administrators to manage their environments in a safe and reliable manner through HPE iLO’s robust remote capabilities via a rich remote server management experience that’s easy to use – and it also provides end-to-end server security. When paired with our FREE HPE iLO Amplifier Pack software, this license provides scale and additional recovery capabilities to support your business continuity.
HPE iLO Advanced has been instrumental in helping customers through past crises as well. For example, J-Tech Enterprises, a Miami-based service provider whose airline customers average between 600 and 1,000 users, was able to remotely access 50 customer sites through HPE’s iLO server management toolset during Hurricane Irma, which struck Florida in 2017. Utilizing HPE iLO Advanced management capabilities, the IT administrator was able to control, configure, shut down and bring up servers as needed from his office – all without having to travel. This enabled the company to save data and prevent potential hardware damage, and it ultimately led to a very nimble recovery after the hurricane passed. Read more about how HPE iLO helped J-Tech Enterprises.
So there is still tim. If you are an HPE customer or partner – or plan to be – let us help you keep your HPE servers up and running so you can stay connected. Here’s how to access your free HPE iLO Advanced License:
Step 1: Register at the HPE iLO Advanced Trial License page.
Step 2: Upon completion of the registration, you will receive a welcome email with assets and guidance information. You will also be prompted to download the PDF containing the license key. Once downloaded, you will be able to use the HPE iLO Advanced License through December 31, 2020.
As always, we at Hewlett Packard Enterprise stand ready to guide you through the current challenging environment, so please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help.
1. Includes all HPE ProLiant and HPE Apollo Gen7 servers and later. Customers downloading license keys through Nov. 2, 2020 will receive license keys that will expire on Jan 1, 2021. Customers downloading license keys after Nov 2, 2020 will receive valid license keys for 60 days from date of activation. On January 1, 2021 all FREE license features will end; however, if you would like to continue to take advantage of the iLO Advanced features, a paid license will be available for purchase after the trial license has ended.
