Experience HP Apollo at HP Discover 2015 Las Vegas

DonnaSMartin

There’s no place like Las Vegas in the late spring. Neon lights, ringing slot machines, casino tables, endless shows, great weather and more.  And if that isn’t enough excitement, I have some hot tips on how you can maximize your HP Apollo Systems experience at the upcoming HP Discover that coincidentally opens in Las Vegas, beginning June 2nd.

Here we go again; another Discover.  What could be better than to let HP help you break away from the expected!   Register today to come and see the new, great products in the HP Apollo family that will be showcased gat Discover.  That’s right, on top of all the Vegas action we will be showing off great new HP Apollo family offerings specifically designed to help you save money, time and effort with your most demanding compute workloads.

Here’s a quick peek at what we have behind the curtain.

For those who like hands-on labs (HOL) we have a variety of demos and physical units for you to explore:

  • High Performance Computing Solving Critical Business Problems: Demo ID 2132. Apollo 2000, 6000 & 8000 are helping to build better and safer products such as planes, cars and help discover new drugs using High Performance Computing Technology.
  • The new Apollo 4000 family helping to optimize customers object storage solutions: Demo ID 2134. Achieve a data driven enterprise and improve your predictive ability using HP Apollo 4510 and HP Apollo 4200.
  • Mastering Hadoop with the New Apollo 4530: Demo ID 2133.Using historical NFL Play-by-Play data and predictive analytics to predict the top NFL quarterback in any condition that you can imagine.
  • HP Big Data Reference Architecture: A new standard for Big Data delivery at scale with HP Apollo 4530 and HP Moonshot: Demo ID 2130. Years ago you quit building a server for each new application. Then in the corner of your data center appears a Hadoop cluster. Then another. Then an HBase cluster. Does this sound familiar? There is a better way!

In our hands on petting zoo you can get close and personal:

  • Apollo 2000, Apollo 4510: Enterprise Bridge to scale-out architecture and Purpose Built Storage Server Solutions.
  • Apollo 6000 Chassis, Power Shelf and ProLiant XL250a and Apollo 8000 Server Trays-- ProLiant XL740f and XL 750f: Purpose Built Rack Scale HPC Solutions and Water Cooled Supercomputing

And last, for those who prefer sitting down at conferences, consider attending these Hyperscale Computing sessions:

  • The Apollo Server Portfolio - Big Data and HPC Solutions: Learn how HP Apollo product line - Apollo 2000/4000/6000/8000 - supports Enterprise Scale out, Big Data, Object Storage, HPC and Supercomputing. Discover Theater, Wednesday, June 3, 5.30pm-6pm, DT1931
  • Enable data driven enterprise through innovation built on HPC and Big Data analytics: Learn how customers are using High Performance Computing to build better and safer products such as planes, cars and faster as well as denser computer chips. Breakout, Tuesday, June 2, 4.30pm-5.30pm, B1929
  • Solving real business problems with Big Data and Object Storage: Customers discuss technologies like object storage, cloud storage and Hadoop from HP to implement next generation Big Data Driven Enterprise infrastructure. Breakout, Tuesday, Jun2 2, 4:30pm-5:30pm, B1929

Whew, and that is just the Apollo area.  Hope to see you in Vegas.  Be careful around the Elvis impersonators.

Here’s your chance to register for HP Discover and join us in person to experience HP server solutions hands-on.  Also, use the HP Discover Session Catalog to plan your schedule in advance and better connect with HP subject matter experts during your time at the event.

We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
