The HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 Server upholds world record in 1-processor performance on SPECjbb2013 benchmark.  The benchmark reveals that the HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 is #1 in 1-processor performance and the first 1-processor server to break 3,000 critical-jOPS.

The latest ML310e Gen8 v2 SPECjbb2013 was published in Oct 2013 and the results can be accessed here. The Performance Brief published in April on the ML310e Gen8 titled HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 Server achieves new #1 results in 1-processor Java performance on the SPECjbb2013 benchmark can be viewed here.

The benchmark is especially useful in measuring response time in critical situations and is relevant for customers interested in throughput-oriented performance (max-jOPS) as well as throughput under response time constraint (critical-jOPS).

The HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2 single-socket server offers the latest Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3 series processors, supporting up to 3.6 GHz and 4 cores, providing the processing power needed to handle a wide variety of workloads. In addition, it offers outstanding configuration flexibility with support for up to two Large Form Factor (LFF) or four Small Form Factor (SFF) drives, four DDR3 UDIMMs, 300 W or 750 W power supplies, and optimal deployment options via two PCIe slots and seven USB ports.
