HP ProLiant servers: Java rock star performances in both metrics on SPECjbb2013-MultiJVM benchmark

Another set of Java performance records and industry-first achievements have been delivered by the HP 1P, 2P, 4P, and 8P ProLiant Servers on the new SPECjbb2013 benchmark.  In the 4-processor and in the 8-processor category, HP is the first vendor in the industry publishing results, and is currently the only vendor with an 8-processor result published by SPEC. These results follow previous record-setting results published just two weeks earlier with HP ProLiant Servers.

 

The new SPECjbb2013 benchmark replaces SPECjbb2005 and is the first time a SPEC Java benchmark contains metrics that encourage competition for both response time and full-capacity throughput. This is especially important for customers interested in throughput-oriented performances (max-jOPS) as well as throughput under response time constraint (critical-jOPS).
