With the qualification of the new Intel® Xeon®1 E5-4600 v4 family of processors on the HPE ProLiant DL560 and BL660c Gen9 Servers, HPE offers feature-rich, dense compute with right-sized storage and larger memory footprint. HPE delivers industry-leading performance and efficiency with high-density, 4-socket solutions and achieves several world-record benchmark results utilizing the Intel Xeon E5-4669 v4 processors!

The HPE ProLiant DL560 and HPE ProLiant BL660c together took the #1 4P world records for both max-jOPS and critical-jOPS in the MultiJVM category on the SPECjbb20152 benchmark. Using the Intel Xeon E5-4669 v4 processors, the BL660c claimed the top spot for MultiJVM max-jOPS and the DL560 was #1 for MultiJVM critical-jOPS.

The DL560 Gen9 has also proven it is the most energy-efficient 4P server by winning three world records on the SPECpower_ssj20082 benchmark. The 4P results include:

  • Up to 82% higher score than competitors’ 4P results
  • 20% boost in energy efficiency compared to previous generation processors
  • First 4P server to break the 9,000 overall ssj_ops/watt barrier
