HPE Service Provider Momentum Continues at HPE Discover Las Vegas

This spring has been an exciting time for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Servers business unit, in particular, the Service Provider segment.

  • On March 8th the Cloudline CL5200 was announced- a beast of a cloud storage server offering either a single two-socket Intel Xeon E5 server node with up to 80 large form factor hard drives, or two two-socket Intel Xeon E5 servers with up to 40 large form factor drives each.
  • On April 13th during the Open Server Summit in Santa Clara, CA, IT Brand Pulse issued HPE Servers a special achievement award for Contributions to Innovation in Open Server Technology from 2012-2016.
  • In addition, we announced a partnership with Mesosphere’s DC/OS—an open-source software project that creates an operating system spanning all of the servers in a datacenter or cloud and provides—a powerful abstraction layer for computing needs.

With HPE Discover Las Vegas rapidly approaching, the HPE Service Provider team will be continuing this momentum.  Be sure to attend the session titled, Hyperscale infrastructure directions, leading customer examples (BB9646) on Tuesday, June 7th from 12:30 p.m. - 01:30 p.m.  During this session, HPE and Mesosphere executives will showcase real-world customer experiences utilizing open and standard technologies, including HPE ProLiant, Apollo and Cloudline servers. Add this to your agenda to learn how these platforms optimize cost, deliver value and support key workloads in the service provider market. In addition, find out how the HPE global supply chain, flexible services and financing help optimize your infrastructure.
