HPE delivers on our promise: InfoSight is expanding to servers
HPE InfoSight brings simplified, AI-driven operations to the hybrid cloud world, transforming how infrastructure is managed and supported. The good news today? The InfoSight portfolio has expanded to include servers.
Traditional infrastructure was not designed with the intelligence to effectively harness data across the data center. IT departments are constantly reacting to problems and not proactively managing their infrastructure.
In this Around the Storage Block video from Discover Las Vegas in June 2018, HPE CTO Bill Philbin talked to Calvin Zito about HPEโs vision to extend artificial intelligence across the data center, driven by HPE InfoSight. Today, we are happy to share with you that HPE InfoSight has continued to implement cutting-edge AI technology and has expanded the supported portfolio to include HPE ProLiant servers, Apollo systems, and Synergy compute modules.
With this first release for servers, HPE InfoSight delivers cloud-based monitoring, select predictive analytics and recommendation capabilities. You knew that HPE has the worldโs most intelligent storage and the worldโs most secure industry-standard servers. Now HPE provides a single AI-driven management tool to monitor and analyze rich data telemetry from both your compute and storage, creating a smarter infrastructure.
HPE InfoSight for servers: watching over your infrastructure 24/7
With InfoSight extended to servers, HPE is combining the cloud-based machine learning of InfoSight with the health and performance monitoring of Active Health System (AHS) and iLO to optimize performance and predict and prevent problems on your iLO 4- and iLO 5-based ProLiant servers, Apollo systems, and Synergy compute modules. InfoSight uses cloud-based artificial intelligence to provide global insights into the status and health of infrastructure, all in one location. And, as it analyzes and correlates millions of sensors every minute, you benefit as your systems get smarter and more reliable. InfoSight watches over your infrastructure 24/7 so you donโt have to spend your days, nights, and weekends dealing with infrastructure issues anymore. Watch this Chalk Talk to learn more:
Stay connected
We will be unveiling additional features for HPE InfoSight at the next Discover event, taking place in Madrid starting November 26. And we will be blogging more on this topic, so be sure to check back for more insights on how HPE continues to pave the way for autonomous infrastructure. Discussions will continue here on Servers: The Right Compute and on our storage blog, Around the Storage Block.
Meet Server Experts blogger Katie Fritsch, Marketing Manager for InfoSight, HPE. Katie most recently led the marketing for the deep learning startup, Nervana Systems, up untili its acquisition by Intel in 2016. Previously, she was the Global Leverage partner for Palantir Technologies, and the first user experience data analyst for the autonomous vehicle project at Google X.
