It is Summer and HP is Open for Business

Summer has arrived in the northern hemisphere.  There is something magical about summer.  Perhaps it has to do with the anticipation of a summer vacation.  For my children it is freedom from school and books.  For graduates it is the excitment of an unchartered path.  No matter who you are or where you are in life, summers are wide open days filled with plenty of sun.

I like the word open especially in the summer.  Whether it is the openning of a pool or a park or a shop or a theater, open is always a good thing.  Perhaps it is also the freedom associated with going and doing something new or different.  No matter what open is good.

HP works to design ProLiant platforms that are open.  We aspire to provide a superior selection of platforms, products and services designed for open source environments.  It all starts with our Linux distribution support found on the Certification tab on our ProLiant Linux site.  Next is our ProLiant Linux distribution drivers, tools and utilities delivered in our Software Delivery Repository.  Helpful documents can be found on the More Information tab on our ProLiant Linux site.

In addition, we continue to build our portfolio of open source tools, solutions, and services from HP.  Here are links to just a few:
