Blades + Linux + Serviceguard + EVA Continuos Access
Hi, what are the requirements for this configuration?
2 EVAS
2 Blades with RH3U3
Serviceguard
I need to perform this configuration:
1 EVA + 1 Blade RH3U3 and SG Linux
----------- 60 Km -----------------
1 EVA + 1 Blade RH3U3 and SG Linux
I┬┤ve a disk in the first site with a Blade, and, in the other site I┬┤ve the other Blade and the copy of the disk (Continuos Access). Is it possible to do this configuration?
What are the software/requirements for this configuration?
Thanks in advanced

Re: Blades + Linux + Serviceguard + EVA Continuos Access
Hi macero,
you need the metrocluster extension to serviceguard to do this. I don't think it is available on Linux, only HP-UX.
Also I think you need some extra mechanisms to control the CA volumes (primary / secundary) from the package scripts in ServiceGuard

Jarle is correct. Today CLX-XP exists for doing what you want with an XP but not for EVA. Support for EVA is under evaluation.
Also, since RH3U3 is so old, I would not expect it to be supported if an EVA version is released.
