CM-CMD messages

Do CM-CMD messages always result from a user-input command? Is that what CM-CMD means in syslog - that this command was input by a user rather than that from the cluster daemon or whatever?

Re: CM-CMD messages

Hello,

Yes, these entries occur when you run cluster commands:

Dec 27 11:39:44 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[1997]: /usr/sbin/cmrunnode -v
Dec 27 11:41:47 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[2586]: cmmodpkg -e OAS_SVR
Dec 27 12:00:22 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[5863]: cmmodpkg -e OAS_SVR
Dec 27 12:42:07 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[9954]: cmhaltpkg LDAP_SVR
Dec 27 12:42:48 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[10032]: cmmodpkg -e LDAP_SVR
Dec 27 12:43:26 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[10088]: cmhaltpkg MQS_PKG
Dec 27 12:44:20 scsmgt2 CM-CMD[10197]: cmmodpkg -e MQS_PKG

Here is an exerpt from my syslog when I was doing hardware upgrades on nodes in my cluster and failing the packages back and forth.

Hope this helps
