To setup Cluster in Linux OS's .we require some extra software CD's or OS CD itself is sufficient to make cluster.

Re: Cluster configration
Linux RHAS 2.1 has its own clustering system built in. No additional software is required. All you have to do is set it up properly.
Service Gaurd on the other hand requires a codeword protected CD from HP and has to be installed into the OS prior to setting up the cluster.
The implementation is similar, but you have to choose which you'd rather use.

Re: Cluster configration
Serviceguard is a separate product that is purchased from HP (or through a distributor). There is no codeword.
Version 11.14.02 works with RedHat 2.1, but there is a patch for RedHat to get it to work. The patch is in the ITRC http://www4.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/patchDocDisplay.do?patchId=SGEN_00001#Patch%20Name:
You can also look at ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/solutions/enterprise/ha/linux/svcguard-certmatrix.pdf to see what errata are supported.
Red Hat 3 and SUSE SLES 8 are supported with 11.15.02
