Configuring MC/Service guard and Virtual IP address on HP UX 11i v 3

Hello,

This is a newbie HP_UX sys admin.

We have brought 2 Integrity servers having HP UX 11 v3, to be used as oracle RAC cluster.

We need to configure Service guard on these servers and configure Virtual IP/Hostname using Service guard.

Are there any manuals explaining this or what is the best way forward?

Thanks

Here is a link to the manuals:

However, this is not a simple process. Normally, you would take a 2 week course for Service Guard and how to integrate Oracle into a Service Guard package. Or hire a knowledgeable consultant to help with the project.

If you have enough time then go through Managing Serviceguard A.11.20

If you want to see some quick output of what it is upto , follow some blogs explaining 'How to setup a simple cluster in SG'.
