Does EMS HA monitor supports volume group 2.0?

Hi,

Volume Group 2.0 uses /etc/lvmtab_p instead of /etc/lvmtab in HP-UX 11.31 environment. I can "resls /vg" to find out about /vg00 but no other VGs, which are created by "vgcreate -V 2.0...".

Does anyone know if it is even supported?

Hi Viktor,

You are right. It is LVM 2.0. Thank you for the document. However my question is that whether EMS / HA Montor supports LVM version 2.x volume groups since it uses /etc/lvmtab_p file instead of /etc/lvmtab (for LVM v1).

The disk monitor does not support LVM 2.0 volume groups that are available in HP-UX11i v3
