ECMT liscence
Hello...
I have HP-UX 11iv3 BOE and purchase a service guard lisecne.
Can i use ECMT tool kit for configuring oracle on the servers. Is there any lisence required to use ECMT. I am not going to configure a RAC cluster.
Your advice is much appreciated...........

Re: ECMT liscence
ECMT is licensed seperately from Serviceguard (after all you might not be clustering an application that has an agent in teh ECMT, so you might not need it). So you do need to purchase the ECMT license seperately.
That said, last time I checked it was licensed "per cluster" so you only need one license to cover your whole cluster, and it isn't expensive software compared to most HP-UX software - list price is about 1,095USD
