Files not reflecting on both node in multi_node package

Hi,

I am using RHEL7.2 with HPE SG 12.00.50. I have configured multinode package and th epackages are mounted on both the nodes.

Now if I create any file/dir on node it doesn't refelect on other nodes. file/dir of node1 shows only on node1, file/dir of node2 shows only on node2.

xfs file system is used for this package.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Regards,
Syed

Re: Files not reflecting on both node in multi_node package

I'm not sure about HP service guard, but as we are aware that "xfs" is not cluster aware file system, if your intention is to access shared block device on multiple nodes at same time. A file systems such as "gfs2" is cluster aware and suitable in such requirements, again, I'm not sure how this works in HP SG. It is just a hint....

Thnak you for your reply.

gfs2 FS is not supported with HPE Serviceguard. I tried initializing the vg in shared mode but that also didn't help me.

Thanks,
