"Managing Serviceguard" is the book that contains everything an average Serviceguard administrator needs to know.

It can be downloaded for free:

-> User Guide

-> Managing HP Serviceguard A.11.20.20 for Linux (pick the one matching your Serviceguard version).

 

Chapter 5: Building an HA Cluster Configuration.

Subchapter 5.1.12: Creating the Logical Volume Infrastructure.

 

Read that first. After that, if you still have questions, feel free to ask.
