For RHEL 6.x, you'll need Serviceguard for Linux version A.11.20.00 (or later).

http://www.hp.com/go/linux-serviceguard-docs -> User guide -> Managing HP Serviceguard A.11.20.00 for Linux, June 2012

First read chapters 1-3 to understand how Serviceguard works and to learn the technical terms used in the rest of the book.

Read chapter 4 and plan your cluster configuration. Use the planning worksheets in Appendix C. This is important if you are not already familiar with Serviceguard. You will be using all this information later.

(If you need someone else to help you, that person will also need all this planning information!)

Then read chapters 5 and 6 for step-by-step instructions for configuring your cluster and packages. Refer to the information you gathered with Chapter 4 as needed.

If your application does not already have Serviceguard-specific installation instructions, read Appendix A and B too.

Once you have your cluster configured, read chapter 7 to understand how to do maintenance operations and configuration changes.

If you have problems, read chapter 8 for step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.
