Installation on RHES 4 going wrong, SG can't contact itself.

Identd serverver seems to be running, but Serviguard cannot make connection to itself or the other node. I remember something about .rhosts in HP-UX, is the same needed for RHEL? I saw something in the documentation about the rights on the .rhosts file, but nothing about installing packages for enabling rhosts access from server->server. Which packages do I need to install to make normal rhost/rexec possible?
