Only one path visible to EVA
I have a Windows 2003 Ent. server with 2 HBAs. I have installed MPIO on the server. I have connected each HBA to separate switches and have verified that each is zoned properly.
When I try to add the server as a host in Command View (EVA 6000) I only see one port available for this server. I have verified that the port is fine on the switch, rebooted the server, disabled/enabled the port, HBAnywhere can see both HBAs. Nothing has made the port appear in Command View.
What else can I try to get the second port visible to the EVA?
Thanks.

Re: Only one path visible to EVA
A reboot or a scan at the adapter level is usually sufficient to register the adapter's WWN on the EVA. One of my favourite errors during zoning is to create the zone, but forget to add it to the configuration.

Re: Only one path visible to EVA
After some more troubleshooting I discovered that it was a flaky HBA. After I replaced the HBA I could see my second HBA.
Thanks.
Thanks.
