I have a question for package number.
Can you make only one package about a Volume group?
Per logical volume belong to VG make a package?
You tell me the answer?

SolutionBut a volume group can only be associated to 1 package.
And by extension the lvol(s) associated with a volume group would thus become associated to that same package.

A volume group can only be a part of one package only and hence all of its accociated logical volumes .

A package can have multiple volume groups...
If your package failes over the vg need to be deactivated...that's why it is not possible to have lvols from one vg in different packages!!!
