Regarding behavior by pushing power button.

Hello,

I would like to know that Servicegurad's behavior by pushing power button and plug off the power cable.

[ENVIRONMENT]
RHEL 4 AS update4 32bit, DL380G4
Serviceguard 11.16.10

[SITUATION]
At two node Serviceguard environment, he turn off the system by pushing power button for long time
when one package is working at one node.
At the situation, the system has performed like "haltpkg"

[QUESTION]
Is the behavior different from plug off the power cable suddenly ?

Re: Regarding behavior by pushing power button.

Shalom,

Either scenario will lead to the same results. A properly configured package will fail over from the node that was shut down to the passive node.
