Regarding cmresserviced command.

Hello,

I would like to know regarding cmresserviced command.

[ENVIRONMENT]
RHEL 4 AS update4 32bit, DL380G4

[SITUATION]
I know that we can use cmresserviced command for disk monitoring.
For example, we can specified "/dev/sdd1" for disk monitoring.
The customer would like to know whether we can monitor other hard ware
by using cmresserviced command.

[QUESTION]
- Can we specified other hard ware by using cmresserviced ?
For example, CPU, Memory, so on.

- If we can specified other hard ware by using cmresserviced,
how can I specified it ?
For example, "cmresserviced /dev/ram0" for Memory, so on.
Can we specified CPU by using any argument ?

Thank you for advice.
Best Regards.

Re: Regarding cmresserviced command.

That command is specific to disks. It original intent was to monitor a disk when only one path existed to storage (using the MSA500). In that case an application could possbily hang and there would be no other indication of a problem.

Users can create their own monitors.
