SG 11.16, Cluster LOCK problem

I created a VG on nodel, and exported/imported this VG in node2.

I have included this VG on cluster asci file, and when i am applying the asci file, i am getting the bellow error.


Error: First cluster lock volume group /dev/SG_CLuter_Lock_VG cannot be found in the cluster.
Error: First cluster lock volume group /dev/SG_CLuter_Lock_VG needs to be designated as a cluster aware volume group.


I am not sure why i am getting this error ?

anyone tell what's the wrong ?

i hope you can enable in -c y mode, which i hope is not..

Hi Shashi,

You need to marg the VG cluster aware. You can do that by running below command.

# vgchange -c y SG_CLuter_Lock_VG

I included this VG in ASCI file, then this error went away.

Now i am facing another issue.

When i am starting the cluster first time, i am getting the bellow error.

#cmruncl
cmruncl : Validating network configuration...
cmruncl : Network validation complete
cmruncl : Waiting for cluster to form............
cmruncl : Cluster did not form. Check the syslog file for information.



In syslog file, i can see bellow errors.


Aug 22 18:04:47 leon cmcld: Waiting for connection request from CMGMSD
Aug 22 18:04:47 leon cmcld: Service cmgmsd terminated due to a signal(6).
Aug 22 18:04:47 leon cmcld: Daemon exiting to preserve data integrity

Just Install 2008 gold pack. download it from ITRC.
