SG/Linux vs. SG/HP-UX

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me, how much alike are ServiceGuard for Linux and ServiceGuard por HP-UX? Is configuring SG/HP-UX anything like configuring SG/Linux?

Thank you,

George Denyer

Re: SG/Linux vs. SG/HP-UX

They are very similar. There are some differences between the two because of differences between HP-UX and Linux. The releases are staggered so some features are supported on HP-UX before being supported on Linux.

The manuals for both are available on docs.hp.com. Comparison of the "managing serviceguard" manuals for each will show how close they are.

Re: SG/Linux vs. SG/HP-UX

Hi,

we have both, SG/Linux and SG/HP installed, and there are only a few differences.
Of cause, there are differences in the OS platform configuration, but the handling (cmd´s) and the most configuration files
are same. In both the docs are very detailed

i hope it help
