ServiceGuard and Linux
Looking for more opinion/real life experience, than technical advice.
ServiceGuard and Linux:
1 Easy to install/maintain ?
2 stable?
3 any other opinions/advice?
All responses greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Re: ServiceGuard and Linux
Wally,
1) yes and it is pretty well documented
2) definitely
3) coming from an HP9000 world you will find that most trouble will be to find out what is the *truely and fully supported config* e.g. in a SAN world (FC HBAs, firmware versions, Kernel versions, etc etc but that's life in the Intel world).
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: ServiceGuard and Linux
1) Yes, Did it in a 4 hour class at the last HP World
2) Quite stable
3) Plan well, and don't cut corners on hardware requirements, set up an extra private heartbeat network that is immune to windows congestion.
