Hi There,

I have 2 nodes HP-UX 11.23, serviceguard A.11.17 cluster.  Currently Oracle 10 g is confiured as package, oracle package is working quite fine means, it is assigning IP address to interface, it is activating DB VGs e.t.c.

And also failover / failback is working quite fine.

My question is, there is no " Serive Name" defined in the package configurations. Can anybody tell me how to define "SERVICE_NAME"  and "SERVICE_CMD" .

And any ideas what process can we monitor with "SERVICE_NAME" /  "SERVICE_CMD" .

It will be more elaborate if example is provided.
