Re: Serviceguard configuration with Windows 2003 management server
see
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02464583/c02464583.pdf
You need to purchase the MetroCluster Toolkit for CA/EVA, and also have the required software for you HP-UX cluster nodes. All detailed in the manuals
And yes, the software goes on all ndoes, but you can have packages that are "normal" Serviceguard packages, and then others that are MetroCluster packages.
In fact I did exactly that at a customer site to show them a proof of concept.
We then "converted" their main packages to MetroCluster packages

Re: Serviceguard configuration with Windows 2003 management server
Is there down time in converting main packages into metro packages?
Before I dig in to all of this, do you like the product and solution that metro provides in terms of usability and functionality?

Solution
Yes, you would need to halt the package to "convert " it.
As to your question:
>do you like the product and solution that metro provides in terms of usability and functionality?
I am the wrong person to ask, as I am not a user, but install and configure this for HP customers.
Perhaps this may be helpful?
