do you know a releasedate for suse linux enterprise 9? i have found a few month ago an announcement for dec 2004. i tried to install 11.15A on SLES9 but it failed.

SLES 9 requires A.11.16. It will be available next month (February). If you have a support contract, you usually can get the updated software for no additional cost.

If you were told about a December date then you were told about the possibility of early access by your salesperson. If you need immediate access, talk to your salesperson.

I guess with HP staff saying it is going to be next month you can have confidence. If there is a delay, it would be for valid Q & A reasons.

I did a hands on class with SG at HP World Chicago. Very nice, just as easy to use as the HP-UX version. Worth the wait.

SG 11.16 for Linux is due to be released within the next few weeks.
If you do use it, be aware of the changes involving Role Based access and cmclnodelist that are in this version.
