Serviceguard "WARNING: The current database state is not certain"
Dear gurus,
Would like to ask if anyone has encountered this SG problem before:
We're running OS B.11.31 with SG A.11.20.00.01 and SG Extension for SAP B.05.10.
Primary node: a1
Alternate node: a2
I halted the package on a1 successfully.
Then I tried to start the package on a2.
The VGs mount successfully but after several minutes the log shows warning messages that I have never seen before.
(sync_db): WARNING: The database is not found in a different SGeSAP package of the cluster.
(sync_db): WARNING: The current database state is uncertain.
Then it will shut down everything.
Previously it was running fine.
Basically it only mount the filesystems but cannot engineer a startup of Oracle and SAP. SG does start up Oracle and SAP but after several minutes it shuts everything down again.
Now I can only run the package on debug mode. If I remove the debug file /var/adm/cmcluster/debug, SG immediately panics and stops everything (Oracle, SAP, package).
Has anyone experienced this problem before?
Thanks very much,
Alex
