I am struggling to find what the cause might be or what the message means to know whether or not we should be concerned about it.
Can anyone shine a light on what the message is about please?
Thanks

Re: Very large numbers of cmcld: [xxxx]: Added port xxxxxxxx (fd xx) messages in syslog.log
At some point in the past someone has turned up the logging level of the Serviceguard cmcld daemon - this is harmless so don't worry about it. How you turn it off depednds on the version of Serviceguard you run - as these aren't typically options that are exposed to customers except during support issues, I suggest you log a call to get the correct resolution to this.
