create simple dual core on a superdome UX 11.31
Hi , a Customer of my got a three node Service Guard Cluster with each a Superdome with 80 Cores ( 10 cell boards) .
a application got license per core who should run on this system .
This application needs nearly no resources , to cut the license cost we need to run this within this system(s) on a single or a dual Core system, the whole environment is already in production ,
what is the best, easiest way to create without any expenses a simple max 2 core system within this superdome environment?
SRP , VPAR HPVM ?
does VPAR A06.XX can create a > than 8 cell Board Partition .
a HPVM needs to reorganise the whole system first ( host with two guest 1 with 78Cores one with 2 Core not a good idea I think
Does anyone can direct me in the best solution ??
Thanks

Re: create simple dual core on a superdome UX 11.31
Hi
I assume you have a Superdome (not Superdome2) system. You can create 2 nPars one with 9 blades and the other with 1 blade. Within the 1 blade nPar, you can create a 2-core vPar, and you will have 6 cores left for other uses.
Hope this helps.
