Dear all,
i'm been getting with my CODA installation, and ServiceGuard.
I'm getting this "dbc_OpenChannel failed" wherenever I started CODA nsv and lsv thru the boot process of the service guard package.
However, I'm not getting this error if i started the same startup script from the command line.
Some brief view of my environment:
OS : 11.00
ServiceGuard : 11.14

Re: dbc_OpenChannel failed with CODA and serviceguard
Set Debug=1 in the Dbc secion of your codarc file and then reproduce the dbc_OpenChannel error. You will then see a chan file in the directory you started CODA from that will show you the Oracle error that causes the dbc_OpenChannel error.

Re: dbc_OpenChannel failed with CODA and serviceguard
I did set debug=1 under the DBC section and restarted the package.
However, eventhough i managed to recreate the error, no chan1.sql is being generated.
anyway, if i ran the startup script from the command line .. i can access coda database and chan1.sql will be generated.
