Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems

service guard CFS mount point rename

Hello , Can anyone  Please  share the steps to rename the mountpoint  in CFS file system on shared two nodes.?

Do we need to halt the package ?

Re: service guard CFS mount point rename

alot depends on whether you are using the cfsmntadmin and cfsmount commands (the old way) of defining cfs file systems or whether you are using the new method (april 2011 patch) method.

ifmusing the old way you need to do a cfsumount, cfmountadm and cfsmount commands

if using the new way just stop the cfs package, edit the file, cmapplyconf and start the package

either way need to stop the package
