Re: ssl and serviceguard apache toolkit

Shalom,

The standard method of generating a self signed certificate with ssl for apache will work. Use the floating ip address as the hostname when you generate it.

Re: ssl and serviceguard apache toolkit

The cert that i am referring to is not a self signed, but rather a CA signed. We have the cert, and it has a password on it that we have to enter every time we start apache.

I am trying to figure out when we move to HP-UX (from Tru64) whether or not starting apache will require user intervention, and if it does, then is it worth the extra money for the MCOE when the EOE will do everything we need it to since serviceguard would be worthless for our apache.

Re: ssl and serviceguard apache toolkit

Use a non-password protected key and use the apache HA toolkit that comes with the MCOE
