Please let me suggest the procedure to restart the server when it is in cluster. What the thing i have to take care while doing this activity so that there is no affection on server and cluster?

Please help me with step by step procedure.

Re: step by step procedure to restart a cluster configured server.

Best Method...

1) Move the packages from restarting node to running node, may make use of cmhaltpkg and cmrunpkg

2) Separate the restarting node from cluster.. cmhaltnode

3) Now the server is like a normal server and go ahead with reboot

4) Join the rebooted node to cluster- cmrunnode

5) Bring back the pakages to the original node..
