Available Now: New Configuration Options for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack!
HPE announced today new configuration options for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solutions. The new options include support for Cisco top of rack switches, as well as Base Management Controller switch options. This update delivers more choices for Azure Stack customers and allows users to configure a solution that meets their most stringent performance and compliance regulations.
HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack is an integrated Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud that incorporates compute, storage, and networking, enabling users to run Azure services on-premises. The HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solution increases agility, enhances innovation, and controls costs with the right mix of private and public cloud to handle enterprise workloads, and provide a comprehensive and simplified development, management, and security experience.
HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack allow users to customize their right-fit memory, scalable storage capacity, support for third-party power supplies and rack options, as well as the processor type thatโs right for their specific needs. The solution offers flexibility with customizable options such as an All Flash Solution, scaling up to 8 nodes, which delivers low latency and high performance for running enterprise grade applications. HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack customers can also right-size their deployment, choosing the exact number of scale units they need, scaling up to 16 nodes linearly with the Gen 10 Hybrid Solution. This capability also enables Azure Stack users to expand capacity of their current systems to meet future growth demands.
New configuration options
The configurations below expand the extensive list of customizable options for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solutions. With the availability of the new Cisco Trade Agreements Act-compliant switches, customers now have even greater flexibility configuring a solution that works best for their business needs:
- Cisco (Trade Agreements Act-compliant) top of rack switches (Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-EX Switch Workload)
- Base Management Controller switch options
- Arista (Trade Agreements Act-compliant) top of rack and Base Management Controller switches
HPE GreenLake: delivering a true hybrid cloud
To provide choices for how customers consume their Azure Stack solution, HPE offers HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity, a pay-as-you go experience for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack. HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity is a service delivered by HPE Pointnext that brings on-premises infrastructure consumption to customers. With variable payments based on actual metered usage, rapid scalability using an onsite buffer of extra capacity, and enterprise-grade support, HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity brings a cloud-like experience for infrastructure on-premises.
