Can’t wait for Azure Stack? Start today with the HPE Hyper Converged 250 for Microsoft CPS Standard

Diana_Z

Recently, Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced a new offering to support, Azure Stack, the HPE | Microsoft Azure Stack solution. And in preparation for the announcement, Whitney Garcia wrote a series of blogs that give us more information about the upcoming offering. From the difference between Azure Stack and Azure Pack to an overview of Azure Stack capabilities, these articles provide readers with a good foundation for understanding what’s coming in 2017.

So although Azure Stack is not going to be generally available for many months, today you can get started on this journey in many ways:

As a follow up to her article, I wanted to explain a bit more on her second option in getting ready for Azure Stack—deploying an HPE Hyper Converged 250 for Microsoft CPS-Standard. Let’s start with the basics:

And HPE is not the only one talking about the speed and simplicity of the HPE Hyper Converged 250 for Microsoft CPS-Standard, Redmond magazine is also signing praises:

“The HPE OVIO tool takes all the guesswork and hassle out of configuring a multi-node system…At the end of the day, the HC 250 CPS version provides a solid platform for running cloud-based applications within your own datacenter. It also makes it drop-dead simple to move applications to and from the Azure cloud. This provides great flexibility for both initial development and for long-term operations.” –Read Full Article
