HP launches Project Synergy – HP’s initiative to deliver Composable Infrastructure

HP has led the way in engineering and building converged infrastructure, bringing compute, storage, fabric and management together as one system, making it easier to deploy, manage and maintain. Our ConvergedSystem portfolio, built on open converged infrastructure architecture that can be managed as a software-defined environment by the single converged management platform, HP OneView 2.0, has brought efficiency to an even higher level with easy deployment and provisioning and a fast payback in less than 12 months.

Now our sights are set on delivering a new class of infrastructure we call Composable Infrastructure, which are fluid pools of disaggregated compute, storage and fast flexible fabric that can be quickly composed, decomposed and then re-composed according to the needs of an application or workload through software-defined intelligence and a unified API. Making Composable Infrastructure a reality is really exciting, and this new class of infrastructure will be designed to run anything and store anything. We will be blogging more about Composable Infrastructure – what it is and what it can do for you – over the next several months, so stay tuned here. Until then, read this blog.
